Breeder’s Award ProgramThe PVAS Breeder’s Award Program (BAP) was established to encourage members to breed a broad variety of fishes and to share with others the knowledge they have gained by doing so. The program is open to all members in good standing (except for corresponding members) of the Potomac Valley Aquarium Society. There are no time limits, you may proceed at your own pace. Awards are given as detailed in the rules. BAP Rules Guide Memos from the BAP Committee: Report all spawns and requests for checkers to bap@pvas.com
The following documents are available for download in MS Word (.DOC) and Adobe Reader (.PDF) formats: REVISED Spawning Report: Requirement Change Proposal (RCP): Process Modification Proposal (PMP): All change proposals, spawning reports, written spawning summaries, and requests for a time to give oral spawning summaries should be emailed to bap@pvas.com, either completed or as drafts for comment. Please feel free to send as many revisions to Spawning reports as you feel necessary to assure that all data is captured. It is a good practice to send a revision after the report, the check, and verification, and to include a final version with the written spawning summary or the request for time to give an oral summary. Paper copies will still be accepted. Please email completed BAP forms to the BAP Chair at bap@pvas.com, or bring a hardcopy to the next meeting. For the old version of the BAP form: Click here |
