Battery back-up for fishroom/multiple tanks

What do people use as a battery back-up for fishrooms? Do folks use a gas generator? Does anyone use a power station (portable or not) for their home and fishroom? The following is a review on Anker Solix F3800 Plus, which seems to be a good option:

Fish in danger

To anyone that has any of the Xenotoca melanosoma that I distributed- I have just learned that population is extremely endangered in the wild and rare in captivity. Unfortunately I didn't know this and didn't bring any with me when I moved. Please make every effort to breed and distribute them.

125 gallon tanks on sale!

I was at Petco today and they have 125 gallon tanks from North American Aquatics… the tanks are part of their 50% off sale… the tank is $500 - and it comes with a glass canopy! If you would like a stand, they have on for $500 as well

Just an FYI if you’re interested in a large tank…

Sanitizing aquarium

I'm moving and using the opportunity to eradicate the algae plague I have fought since moving here. The crap I have dealt with now that I rely on petshops is unreal. Miss you guys!

I need to completely rid myself of this long, LONG hair algae. Toothbrush, heck, I use a spaghetti scooper daily!

How do I make sure it doesn't follow me?

The best way to sterilize an aquarium is to use Clorox. The higher the concentration the quicker it kills everything. Rinse well and maybe use declor after the final rinse.

Saturated salt solution (SSS) is also an option. wet all surfaces with SSS and repeat a couple of times rinse well Any residual salt is not a problem.
