My cat tree was placed in a suboptimal position and when my cat jumped on it the tree crashed into the side of my empty 30 gallon long that I was planning to fill tomorrow. I don't see any visible cracks or broken seals. But should I replace it anyway out of an abundance of caution? The tank was moved into the wall on the back side as well. I just really don't want any floods. Thanks.
Fill it up outside or in the bathtub and leave it for a while to see if there is a leak.
Bummer! 30 long is an amazing tank. Agreed with Cristy — try it out someplace safe. For a tank that large, it’s tricky. We’ve set smaller tanks on a table with towels under. tub does sound safer.
