Group Buys are open to all PVAS members in good standing. The purpose of Group Buys is twofold: to save money for members on shipping costs and to reward club sponsors. The club absorbs shipping costs on most orders. Exceptions may occur for very heavy items in which case the shipping costs will be built into the item prices (examples: rock, hardwood, dry plant fertilizers). Members are expected to pick up and pay for their items at the designated meeting. It's not fair to the Group Buy Coordinator to have to hold the items. Payment is cash (amount rounded up to the nearest dollar) or check (made out to PVAS).
