In In The Tank
I have a pair of Convict Cichlids which have begun to reproduce. So far there have been 2 broods of babies in the past 2-3 months. Now my tank is being overrun by babies. I probably have about 25-30 of them swimming around in the tank right now. I know that I need to separate the pair if I don't want more breeding, but I don't know what to do with the little ones. My biggest concern right now is that as they grow, they will start breeding as well. I have never had to deal with this situation in the past. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
