In Fish Mongers
My Endlers are pushing the limits of my 50G, I literally have hundreds too many. If anyone is interested in a free bag or two unsexed (I'll net them but not sex them) please let me know. Free to anyone who is interested in raising/breeding Endlers. Pickup only, I'm in Brookeville Md. As I understand it there may not be that many pure Endlers left, most having been hybridized with Guppies. My colony is from a couple purchases well over a decade ago from Congressional Aquarium in Rockville. Endlers are generally quite agreeable and hardy. They like water in the 76-80 degrees, and are very light on bio load. My experience is, if you keep your tank well maintained, have a well planted tank, you can easily go over the one inch per gallon rule with them. If they are happy, they are prolific breeders. They are peaceful with the red cherry shrimp I keep, even in my overstocked situation.

If anyone is interested in a free mixed bag of pure endlers (male, female, all ages), let me know. They are from the same group I got several years ago. I typically donate surplus to Congressional Aquarium in Rockville (where I got them originally), but wanted to see if anyone in the hobby is interested first (I'm a newb member at PVAS). Not willing to pick out a single sex but anyone is welcome to a free mixed bag of any size for porch pickup (I think I have 50-75 of them currently). If anyone knows of good LFS's on the Maryland MoCo side of the Potomac, especially that will take fish donations, let me know. Congressional Aquarium is the only one I know of nearby and would like to find some additional places. Thanks for any tips!
