Slimy looking material which reaches an inch or so from bottom of the tank. Just showed up a couple of days ago. My intuition is that's it's a cyanogen bacteria. Anything to do about it other than reduce light, reduce feeding, and increasing water changes?

Hoping folks will have some of the following at next week's meeting. Let me know if you're planning on bringing any of them and want me to find you: - blue neo shrimps (culls are fine, just need to increase genetic diversity in my small colony) - Low-tech plants. I'm setting up a 10g guppy tank for my daughter so enough for that but I can always put extras in my 55g - LED lights for a a 30", 48", and/or 72" tank - Rocks for hardscaping a shell dweller tank

Tank has seen better days but still holds water. There's a small chip in the corner. The stand is solid wood and in great condition. Asking $100 but will trade for fish or equipment and will entertain fair offers.

I have a 7" pearsei that's starting to scrap with my other pearsei. The goal was always to reduce my group of three until I have one big guy as a show piece. Would be interested in trading for equipment or fish (looking for bristlenose plecos, tetra groups, cories, or something else interesting) or selling. Not sure the right price - maybe $60?

I have never bred fish and am thinking it this would be a fun next step in the hobby for me. I have an empty 55gal and would not be completely averse to picking up a used 75 or maybe 125 (if a good deal could be had). Would love some suggestions for fish (preferably but not necessarily cichlids) I could breed. Ideally these would be fish I could sell (not for a profit) to local keepers or fish stores so no convicts. Any suggestions?

Hey all, I'm interested in moving to a high tech set up and am possible looking for either a good used setup or suggestions on a new starter set up. I'm also looking for some neo shrimps. Picked up a bunch of plants at the event today and had a great time!
