I will write up a spawning report. But the short answer is the corys finished growing up in a community tank since I obtained them from you. I recently put them in a bare tank with a sponge filter, bolbitis, and a hiding place. All of a sudden there were eggs on the glass and the bolbitis. They have done this a couple more times after I changed the water. So that seems like a good trigger for them. Let's hope I can raise up the fry successfully!

A couple of the parents

Parents had a starter baby a few months ago. I collected 16 fry on May 19, 2024.

Parents had a "starter batch" of four babies 2 months ago (April 2025) and a batch of 16ish fry around May 1, 2024.

A new batch of Catemoco livebearer babies born about two weeks ago, so May 14, 2024. I hope they make it. I wonder if they are more likley to breed in the spring?

More baby trought goodeids born May 27 2024. Four are shown, there are a couple more I have not been able to catch yet.

Attempt number 2 they laid 30 eggs and @ 16 hatched in the presence of a few drops of methylene blue. They are so cute! Thank you for the methylene blue tip Frank!
