What is the date of the tour?

Do we bring our own beverage? What about utensils, plates, bowls, etc.?

P.S. It’s vegan but as the name suggests, full of peanuts. I hope there are no peanut allergies. I’ll put a label on it so folks know.

P.S. I was also thinking of honey gouramis, so 6 angels, 6 honey gouramis, and a small school of cories.

Thank you for the information. I like the koi angelfish and think the red would look great in my planted tank. Do you have photos of both types. My tank is planted with valisneria, water sprite, dwarf chainsword, and the roots of pothos plants as well as some driftwood decorations.. If I wanted other fish in with them, what do you suggest? Clearly no nanofish. How about corydoras? I'll be at the bowl show on the 9th so I'm excited that I may have new fishies to buy and bring home!

Since I'm new to Angelfish can you answer a few questions to help me decide? 1) which type is smallest? 2) Would either of them work in a community tank? 3) Do both of those types like planted tanks? 4) Are both okay in a 55-gallon? Thank you, Lisa

Hi Riva, I've got a cycled, heavily planted 55 gallon that I am just starting to populate (so far it has one mystery snail and a few tetras that hitched a ride as fry in plants), and I wanted to get cories. I'd be able to take a group of them if you still need to find homes. I can also wait until August. I live in Arlington but my inlaws are in Silver Spring so I can come by and pick them up at UMd or the vicinity. Thanks, Lisa

I'm running out of space in my tiny Arlington house! LOL

I ordered a stand from Petsmart that is rated to hold a 55-75 gallon tank, so I should be good to go. It's supposed to be delivered on Wednesday so I know that evening I'll be doing stand assembly. So excited to get this going. It will have snails it in first as I had an unexpected mystery snail birth, but after that I find them new homes I'll need suggestions for a tank that size. :)

Crisis averted! My neighbors helped get the aquarium into the house and offered to come back and put it on the stand I ordered! 😀

Thanks, Matthew. I ordered a stand from Amazon last night. I live in Arlington so if anyone is strong and has a good back I'd really appreciate the help. The aquarium addiction is real but my ability to lift has not increased with the addiction! LOL

I need to do some research on the auction but I'm glad to give them away. They're really pretty little snails. The Ivory are almost a pearl like white. They're all fairly small now, so when they're bigger I'll be looking to rehome them. Right now I'm trying to keep them healthy in the 10G.

My 10G is currently filled with mystery snails (I need to figure out what to do with them, unplanned pregnancy). It was previously home to my betta and he's now in a 5G portrait tank. He's not happy with me since the move just happened on Saturday. The 20G is nano fish - ember tetras, pygmy cories, emerald dwarf rasboras, and a mystery snail. I had two (hence the snabies) but mama snail went walkabout and cracked her shell and passed before I found her. I also have a 2.5G where I'm trying to grow brine shrimp to adulthood. All this after never having an aquarium my entire life until April! :)
