I only have a few bags big enough to hold that many guppies. All my bags are for shrimp and are small.

I order mine from amazon in bulk. How many do you need and what size?

Nova Tropicals in Dale City is a good place to start as well as Capital Aquarium in Manassas both are great shops and can assist and do maintenance contracts.

I am going to be setting up 2 one gallon mason jar's so I will be looking for 20 shrimp 10 for each jar. The jars will have air tight glass lids that I will open occasionally for oxygen exchange. want to setup a self sustaining ecosystem one for work and the other for home. I ordered everything today so will not be ready for the shrimp for about 3 months.

That can handle way more then 2 shrimp. I had about 200 in a 2.5 gallon tank years ago. I would recommend starting with 10 or more if your goal is to have them breeding in the tank. Is this going to be a planted tank with shrimp or will you have nano fish in it?

Why are you looking for only 2 cherry shrimp?

I am so excited for the all day auction that I will be busting out some high end shrimp for the auction to include a bag from my Red Snowflake colony that took 3rd place at the international shrimp contest. And a bag of Orange Eye Red King Kong Caridina shrimp also known as Red Devils not some thing availible locally.....

I hope everyone is excited to talk shrimp with me as I setup a shrimp tank.... Also I have a special gift for the person who wins the shrimp tank I setup at the event....

Do you have any details about the tank like size (gallons/demensions)?
