Im looking for the Jordan Mouthbrooder (Astatotilapia flaviijosephi) but I don't know who to contact about it.
The CARES site seems to be a bit broken at the moment. If anyone has any leads on where I could find this fish id apreciate it. There was at least one breeding population in the US as of 2014. This might be a tough ask but im sure someone here knows someone who might know.
So if anyone is connected with the CARES cichlid people id apreciate some help.
The Jordan Mouthbrooder is the only haplochromine cichlid whose natural range is not in the continent of Africa.

UPDATE: I spoke to the people that brought it into the country and bred it and Its highly likely the species has gone extinct the in the US hobby.
