September Speaker, Charles Clapsaddle, mentioned that all he feeds is Purina AquaMax. Furthermore, he said best for most of us is the 100 size. Accordingly, I reached out to Purina to find a local source that agreed to order it and should have in the store in a couple weeks.
Bag is 50lbs. I have no idea yet what that will cost; however, Charles, thought it should be in the $50 to $60 range. Will post here what the cost per pound works out at.
If you are interested in a pound or two let me know.
Michael = Restazonia
Michael, I'll take two pounds, if possible.
Matt
I'd be interested in a pound, Mike. Thanks.
One pound for me please
1 pound for me as well please.
Name please?
Jacob Waters
@Muddy357 Got it - Muddy Waters will be my reminder phrase.
1 lb please
I’d also like one pound, please
2 lbs please. Thx!
I will take one pound... thanks!
I would like to see the size of the pellet, but if they are 1mm or less I will take a pound.
Mark, the 100 size is .8 mm, so should be fine.

Thanks for looking that up Matt. I was wondering the same thing.
@matthewchambers11
Thanks for including the link.
Bag arrived at the Southern States Co-op in Purcellvile, VA. Will go out there tomorrow to pick-up. If you indicate you will be at the CCA meeting this Saturday I will deliver then. Will probably bring a few extra bags, just in case. Will post cost tomorrow when I get back.
Michael, I'm planning to be there Saturday, so could pick up the food then.
Matt
Me too!
I will be at CCA meeting too.
There is a meeting this Saturday? Can I pick up 1st Saturday in November ?
As Michael said, there is a CCA meeting this Saturday, not a PVAS meeting.
I'm not at theNovember meeting. Wife's B'day weekend trip to NYC wins.
Can I meet you at your place in Reston?
Yes - give me a ring first to make sure I'm home.
Apologies - cost came in a little higher than Charles Clapsaddle thought it would. 50lb bag was $102.59. I will round down to $2.00 per pound. Gas and tolls to Purcellville, VA on me. Will start bagging this evening in 1, 2 and 5 pound lots.
Maybe it should be $2.25/pound to cover the actual cost and expenses.
Agree with Mark. You shouldn't be subsidizing fish food for other people. We should all pay our own way. $2.25/pound. You're officially outvoted :)
@mkaprow I agree! It's still a great bargain.
I will give you a call... probably tomorrow or Friday. Then I can see your fish room again ;)
If you can give me a address and a time for this CCA meeting, I will come and pick up at their Saturday meeting. Can I upgrade to 2 pounds? I’ll be happy to help out with the additional cost for your time and expense
Two pound it is. Will go downstairs now to do a special package/container.
For those going to the CCA meeting, please note that the location shifts for just October 2019 due to a scheduling priority at the High School where we normally meet.
The October 12 CCA meeting will be held at:
Glenallan Elementary School
12520 Heurich Road, Silver Spring, MD 20902
Meeting time:
1:00 PM - Doors Open for Setup and Socializing
Thank you. I would have had no idea and gone to the wrong location.
Thanks, Mark! It's very close to the usual meeting location, probably less than half a mile away.
While I am at it I should mention that the meeting really starts at 2:00PM and the 1:00PM time is for set up.
is there any left for the November meeting? If so I’d like 2 pounds.
Yes, if you have any left, could you bring a pound to the November meeting? Thanks.
Hi, I’d like to pick up a pound at the November meeting if possible. Thanks.
Lydia, Bob, and Aly,
Michael (restazonia) said earlier in the thread (October 9) that he cannot be at the November meeting.
Matt
Ah okay, my bad.
