Chico's is now officially back and open for business. We are still in the process of stocking the shelves, so selection is a little limited. It will be getting better by the day. The fish sysem is finishing its cycling and I plan on adding a few fish very shortly. We will be looking for some locally raised fishes. Halloween seems like an appropriate time to announce that Chico's has risen from the grave. There is an old saying about the last nail being put into your coffin. Not only were all of the nails in ours we were also down in the hole with dirt being shoveled in. By a last second miracle our landlord agreed to terms that would give us a chance to reopen. For those not familiar with our story the short version is our landlord promised our new location would be ready in October of 2022 . We were forced into a "temporary" space where we were barely functioning for over a year. We are now getting close to reopening. Our goal is around mid-November. We need help however. After a year plus in delays our resources have been almost totaly depleted. Chico's Natural Pet Market will be moving. Don't worry, we are not going far. We will be in the same shopping center we are in now. Our current location will be closing around the end of May and the new one opening early June (hopefully). That being said - all of the fish need to be out of the store before the move. I am giving PVAS members first chance before offering clearance prices to the general public. All fish, inverts, plants will be 50% off.
