Our first CARES species fry! Just found this little newborn today. Umbilical cord like appendage still visible.

@redupright Once they're happy, they really are delightful fish. Haven't seen ours eating duckweed either, but John Mangan told us he lets them graze on it, and someone in another forum commented about that as well. The Omega One Kelp Flakes are an interesting option. We also occasionally drop in an Omega One Algae wafer. They do nibble at it a bit, but prefer to eat off the water surface.
