In The Tank

It is one challenge to breed different fish species; and another entirely to grow them out and move them along to new fish keepers. Here's a very short look at our Mikrogeophagus Ramirezi grow out tank. It is a lightly planted 20-long, running two sponge filters, and weekly water changes. These rams are about two months old. A small batch of four German Blue rams are slightly older -- closer to three months old -- and are starting to color up.

We hope to have a bunch sufficiently grown to bring in by March 2020 meeting for the mini auction.
