Eheim Mech Pro Media Opinion?
I was wondering what people's opinions were concerning Eheim's Mech Pro media
which is included with their Professional 4+ filter product line.
Came across an online video suggesting replacing it with standard sponge filter pads.
I have to admit that the Mech Pro media (basically little plastic barrels) appears to be so large that I do not know what, if any, mechanical filtration benefits it provides.
