Koi Angel Fry: Divide & Conquer
We are half way along towards submitting these Koi Angelfish fry for the Breeder's Award Program (BAP). As the fry grow, it is clear that the 1/2 gallon specimen container is NOT a good space for such a high concentration of fry. Even with multiple daily clean-outs and regular water changes, it would be much better for them to have a small, safe established tank to grow out in. So check it out as we "divide & conquer" this batch, moving half of them up to our 5.5 gal. tank. There is some risk of the water parameter change causing the fry we move to "crash." But since we're losing fry daily anyhow, it seems worth a try.
