It’s good to have you here! Feel free to share anything hobby-related: stories, ideas, pictures or whatever is on your mind. Here you can start discussions, connect with members, reply to comments, and more.

While participating, please keep in mind that PVAS is a family-oriented club. Keep it clean, civil, and on-topic.

When using PVAS online interactive spaces such as the Forum, you agree to abide by our Code of Conduct. Specifically, you will not take any of the following actions:

• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

• Abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights of others.

• Post, upload, email, distribute or disseminate (collectively, ‘transmit’) any misleading, deceptive, false, defamatory or libelous content.

Hey PVAS folks! Splashy Fish in Springfield is looking for Aquatic Specialists to join our team, part-time or full-time.

If you already spend your weekends doing water changes and talking people out of putting an oscar or goldfish in a 5 gallons, you’d fit right in. The job includes:

• Caring for our livestock: feeding, water quality, tank and filter maintenance

• Receiving and acclimating new fish shipments

• Helping customers pick the right fish and gear (and helping beginners avoid the classic mistakes)

• Helping with aquascapes and tank setups

Thanks to all the club members and volunteers who helped make the all day action a success. It’s nice to see the hobby is getting stronger
