Splashy Fish is hiring!!
Hey PVAS folks! Splashy Fish in Springfield is looking for Aquatic Specialists to join our team, part-time or full-time.
If you already spend your weekends doing water changes and talking people out of putting an oscar or goldfish in a 5 gallons, you’d fit right in. The job includes:
Caring for our livestock: feeding, water quality, tank and filter maintenance
Receiving and acclimating new fish shipments
Helping customers pick the right fish and gear (and helping beginners avoid the classic mistakes)
Helping with aquascapes and tank setups
Packing local pickup and shipped orders
Retired? Semi-retired? Looking for something part-time around your own fish room? We’d love to hear from you. Flexible hours make this a great fit, and decades of hobby experience are exactly what we’re looking for.
Perks: flexible schedule and an employee discount (dangerous for your fish room, we know).
You need to be 18+ and able to lift 50 lbs. Hobby experience counts for a lot here. If you know your fish, we want to talk to you.
📍 5408 Port Royal Rd, Suite A, Springfield, VA 22151
