While participating, please keep in mind that PVAS is a family-oriented club. Keep it clean, civil, and on-topic.

When using PVAS online interactive spaces such as the Forum, you agree to abide by our Code of Conduct. Specifically, you will not take any of the following actions:

• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

• Abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights of others.

• Post, upload, email, distribute or disseminate (collectively, ‘transmit’) any misleading, deceptive, false, defamatory or libelous content.

• Transmit insulting, threatening or provocative language, or language that is hateful towards a certain group of people.

• Transmit content to incite hatred on the basis of race, religion, gender, nationality or sexuality or other personal characteristics.

• Transmit inappropriate, profane, defamatory, obscene or indecent content.

• Conduct any illegal activity or solicit the performance of any illegal activity.

• Contribute any text or other material that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

• Make unproven or unsupported accusations against individuals or organizations.

• Spam your contribution to a club Online Collaborative Space by sending multiple copies or versions of it.

• Advertise or offer to sell any goods or services for any commercial purpose except in the Fish Mongers section according to the rules posted there.

• Transmit off-topic or irrelevant contributions not in keeping with current topics or themes.

Creating a Password

When signing up to become a site member, you provide your email address which will serve as your user id and a password. Your password:

• Must be between 4 and 15 characters

• May contain English upper and/or lower case characters

• Numbers

• Any of the following special characters:  _ - ! @ # $ % ^ & *

• Your password cannot contain a period (.)

If you're having trouble setting or resetting a password, it may be because you are not compliant with these parameters.

Please note that the email address you provide when becoming a site member is the one to which all club communications will be sent including monthly meeting reminders for club members, and quarterly communications about upcoming events for nonmembers. If you're wondering why you never receive these club communications, consider whether you've provided an email address that you check regularly.
