New to PVAS, and traveling from about 3 hrs away, it was a real treat to make our first monthly meeting ever on August 3rd. About 10 minutes in, Ben leans over to me and says "This is AWESOME!" Greg Sage has been an inspiration as we've gotten further into the hobby, so meeting him was quite exciting.

The mini-auction was fun too! All of the plants and fish we bought are doing wonderfully in our tanks. (had to get that bolbitis fern -- 'cause that's a classic Greg Sage plant!) It's neat to think about personally exchanging aquatic life with club members.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. Wonderful presentation from John Mangan too! So much to learn . . .
